About Cameron Audit
Established in 2015, Cameron Audit now serves around 40 clients. We work mainly with Scottish RSLs, alongside housing associations in England and charitable organisations.
Our team brings experience in housing leadership, finance, governance and audit quality. That experience informs our Internal Audit programmes, Governance Reviews, Assurance Statement reviews, ARC Validations and Investigations.

Managing Director
Alexander leads Cameron Audit’s Internal Audit and Assurance work across the public and not-for-profit sectors. A financial expert, he brings extensive Scottish RSL experience and has authored SFHA Internal Audit Guidance.
Audit Director
Stephen brings over 30 years’ experience in Scottish social housing, including leadership as a housing association director. His work focuses on governance, operational controls and regulatory compliance, drawing on practical experience of board effectiveness and organisations under enhanced regulatory engagement.
Audit Director
Nicholas is CIPFA-qualified with over 18 years’ experience in Internal Audit and financial management. He specialises in financial controls, treasury, budgeting and risk, helping Scottish RSLs assess financial viability, stress testing and the evidence supporting financial Assurance.
Head of Operations
Susan’s role focuses on the day-to-day coordination that supports a responsive audit service. As Head of Operations, her priorities are clear communication, organised delivery and effective support for the team and the organisations we work with.
Head of Assurance
Fiona oversees quality Assurance across our Internal Audit engagements, including file reviews, methodology and quality monitoring. With an MA in Law and Associate membership of the IIA, she helps ensure our work is clear, consistent and aligned with sector expectations.
